One interesting fact this story doesnt tell you is that Academy of Art University in San Francisco had no athletic program before Mr. Williams went there. He helped implement a fully functioning Division II athletic program. Welcome aboard Jamie!
 
Since I know this will be asked he has received his Masters of Science in Mass Communication from San Jose State University in 1993, and a Doctorate of Education in Organization and Leadership, including an emphasis in sports administration, from the University of San Francisco in 2000.
 
Jamie also wrote the script for the movie Any Given Sunday starring Al Pacino. His high school, college, and professional teammate with the SF 49ers was Roger Craig.

Welcome back to Lincoln. Jamie will be a great addition to the department.
 

Those are some serious credentials! Sounds like a great marriage for both parties. Welcome back Dr. Williams.
 
An absolutely tremendous addition to the athletic department. I love it when quality alumni come back home. He will have an serious impact at our great university!

You're kidding me he is responsible for that Epic "Inch by Inch" speech by Al Pacino? One of the best sports movie speeches of all-time!
