Resign? For the love of everything holy- why did we resign this trainwreck? My goodness this seems like an obvious change
Dude you think he approved a bad snap on am extra point? You think he approved a bad blocking scheme that allowed a blocked punt? What arr you talking about?cant imagine that play was something rhule didnt approve. no excuse, but lets be honest......
Exactly, I have taught 6 year olds how to long snap.Unless snap-related, blocked punts are almost 100% scheme failures. Multiple blocked punts over 2 years = incompetent coaching.
Continual long-snapping issues? Poor recruiting, evaluation and coaching by the Special Teams coach.
We have enough data to make a decision on this particular assistant.
The return game is well below average. It’s hard to believe that he is a good coach of special teams, but I’d be satisfied if he stays in some capacity as long as someone is in charge who knows what they’re doing.Unless snap-related, blocked punts are almost 100% scheme failures. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere NEAR the Nebraska team after this weekend. The return game is well below average. It’s hard to believe that he is a good coach of special teams, but I’d be satisfied if he stays in some capacity as long as someone is in charge who knows what they’re doing.
I'm just thinking about how Rhule handles things. There may be tasks that Foley can do well, but I want someone else in charge of organizing and field coaching all aspects of special teams. Yes, the long snapper was a disaster (which also belongs to Foley) but it was a lot more than that. Our coverage units were average, and our punt return game went from terrible to less terrible but still really bad. I'm not even talking about the blocks. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere NEAR the Nebraska team after this weekend.
