Readers of Duane Rossiter’s weekly column in the Daily News on Husker football recruiting have undoubtedly noticed its absence since early December.
Mike Matya, senior writer for HuskerOnLine.com, said Rossiter has been dealing with major health issues in recent months. “Unfortunately, things have gotten progressively worse,†he said.
Matya said he has been in contact with Rossiter’s wife, Dorothy, who told him that the longtime writer is now home and in hospice.
“The doctors give him a couple of weeks at most before he passes,†Matya said. “Please keep him and their entire family in your prayers.â€...This from my local newspaper..Please say an extra prayer for him and his family...THANKS..
