Why would a recruit commit to a team when he doesn't even know who his position coach is going to be? Maybe he knows who the coach will be, and they just haven't announced it yet?

It has been said it's because of MR. Not confirming it, but looking at the coaching carousel and some players opting out and or following the HCs, it's possible.
