There's a reason we were sending Ruud to go get every LB recruit.Beat me to it. Not surprised. Good dude but special teams was a fiasco. OLB is a different story, not a lot of clay to mold, though even there his recruiting has not been the greatest. Good dude for sure. Best of luck to coach.
I was just going to post something like this. Great guy but pretty average coach and recruiter, IMO. But again, great guy!I wish him luck but I think it is addition by subtraction. Our ST were terrible last year. 2 separate games we were climbing back in only to immediately be pushed back out via a Kick off return. I do not blame the FG problems on him as injuries caused that. Giving up kick off returns is inexcusable. Even Maryland came very close to a return against us.
Our head man agrees with you. Think if we made this hire and you looked at his recruiting and special teams numbers.I wish him luck but I think it is addition by subtraction. I am glad you posted this. I felt a little dirty posting what I did since the guy has cancer. I admire Scott for keeping him on until he got another job. Ultimately you have to do what is best for the team. Our head man agrees with you. Think if we made this hire and you looked at his recruiting and special teams numbers.
I think that was Fisher, who will be his position coach.Going back to the drama and contraversy of Jaiden Francois signing day....wasn’t he ready to leave if coach Dewitt didn’t stay?
