Surely somebody somewhere collects stats on attrition of players by school and conference. Seems there’s a stat collected for everything. I wonder how NU compares to other schools right now.

Quick count, and I see 37 Nebraska players who have transferred out since 2019, 7 who have transferred to Nebraska.
Kids from states where we don’t play games are going to have a considerably higher attrition rate. Recruiting kids from CA, FL, and TX is a high risk proposition for Nebraska. That’s part of the spoils of joining a rust belt - centric conference.
