With where Nebraska finds itself combined with a game many believe Nebraska could get destroyed in just a day away, any recruit is nice. At this point just keeping the commits they have come February would be a massive win.
 


I want to reiterate how great of a move I think this is getting a for sure OLB in and then use your +3 for a guy like Parsons that we are still courting and is going to take visits. I'm glad we moved off the "only taking one" theme, as OLB has been a bit of an achilles heel for us (though Stille may help us a bit with the move back). Parsons is a commit you always make room for, but you have to have someone on board in case he doesn't come our way. Excellent job by this staff adjusting with what they've seen.

Footnote: Last top ranked Minnesota guy we got was JD Spielman, i'll take this guy.

I totally agree, although I am not sure how he would know unless DR said something. If that is the case not sure why he wouldn't come out and say it.

I don't think that would help the AD search a ton, so it would surprise me. As *** said, he secures his spot. Must like what he sees from Diaco and Co, but can certainly reconsider if there is a change.

I realize its not a zero sum game, but I'd like to see them win enough to stick around so we can see Bookie, Moore, Alston, etc. I have an irrational positivity regarding Parsons as well.

Also needs to be said most Mid West recruits tend to be low balled when comes to ratings by the sevices
