Daniels and Thomas not coming back

Lot of decisions to be made for sure
Only so many snaps in a body
Best of luck to them if they go the NFL or elsewhere in life
Perhaps he could have but there comes a point sometimes ad you know you have to take a leap of faith

Daniels will get drafted
They have dedicated tons of time and effort to the Husker program. I wish they could have been rewarded with more on the field success. I give them a hearty "Thank You!" and wish them much success in the future.
I think both should come back. Daniels might get a shot at the NFL, but not sure on Thomas. Kids usually get bad advice on these things.
He should. No guarantees he will.
He answered all the questions and criticism with his play this year. He was a big reason the Blackshirts were stout this fall.
The Defensive Line takes a big hit. Daniels in particular is a significant loss. It would have been nice to have Thomas back as well. I respect their decisions to move on though, and I wish them luck.
We'll have to get a lot out of Robinson, Rogers, Hutchmaker, Riley (if he returns), and a few others next year. The secondary is also losing a lot. Barring transfers, we bring back pretty much everyone at LB. I'm not sure I see the Defense being as good or better next year.

We have no replacement for Daniel's in the middle. Huge loss.
a loss, yes, no replacement? that's very debatable.
In ten years we may find that the Covid year (2020) took more out of players than we suspected.....
