I think Dana will be a much better OC, than he was a HC, and he was solid at that. He can kill it, not worrying about anything but his thing. Still have a life to some degree. I think 3m per would be a fair/perfect salary. He’s earned it over his career. Put him at, or near the top for any assistant. I wonder what changes he will make? I’m guessing, he thinks NU is going to win a championship, or compete for one quickly. This move, if true, could certainly boost recruiting even higher.
Coordinators have been getting a three year contract. I'll take this two year deal if it means keeping him. Houston is paying him $4M a year for a couple of years minus whatever we pay him I think.
