These are the latest predictions for the field of 64 teams in the 2022 NCAA baseball postseason from d1baseball.com's Kendall Rogers, Aaron Fitt and Mark Etheridge.

Maryland as a 1-seed (hosting a regional)

Rutgers as a 3-seed.

No other Big Ten teams. The two newest members of the Big Ten are it (the only two with an RPI better than 73). Granted, there's still time for another team to get hot. But man, the fact that Nebraska wasn't able to take advantage of a down year for the Big Ten is frustrating.

not only did they not take advantage, the finished in the lower half of the standings.. From a bad conference, that is really bad!

Bad year for the BiG

Especially bad for us. Miserable year.

Hopefully this is an anomaly!

Unfortunate…. because the Big Ten had made some good strides in college baseball.

Us, Michigan, Indiana, even Iowa and Illinois were being taken seriously.

Rutgers is an anomaly but Maryland was always pretty good in the ACC.

I’m glad that they are carrying the banner for us this year. I wish them well.
