Picks dus by 6:00 pm Monday. Since we have such a log jam at the top I added a few ittems to try and break up the log jam.

Pick the winner of the series Florida or South Carolina (4 points)
Pick the number of games the series will take (4 points)
Tie breaker Pick (if needed) the total number of runs scored in the finals. NO DUPLICATE Entries. Whoever is cloestest without going over gets 1 point.

Good Luck Everyone!

Wouldn't it be better if the third criteria (total runs scored) is a tiebreaker? If the person in last place picks the closest of total runs scored and gets the 4points, that won't break a tie at the top.

A couple of interesting factoids about the upcoming championship series.

South Carolina is undefeated in tournament play, going through the Regionals, Super Regionals, and CWS at 8-0
Florida lost one game to Miss St in the Supers (another SEC team) and is 8-1 for the tournamnet.
The SEC is now 33-11 in the tournament with over half those losses coming at the hands of other SEC foes.
In the CWS, no SEC team was beaten by any other team other than a SEC team.
Florida, Vandy and So Carolina tied for the SEC regular season title with 22-8 records.
Florida won the SEC Conference tournament and did not play So Carolina.
Florida and So Carolina have only played 3 times this season in a weekend series in Jacksonville where So Carolina won 2 out of 3 games.
3/25 @ Florida - So Car 9 Fla 2
3/26 @ Florida – Fla 2 So Car 1
3/27 @ Florida – So Car 4 Fla 3
The Gamecocks defeated the Gators in a series for the first time since taking two out of three games in Columbia in 2008.
South Carolina is the defending National Champion having won the 2010 title at Rosenblatt.
South Carolina owns a record 14 consecutive NCAA tournament victories.

All in all, this series pits the best two teams and looks to me to be a toss-up.
