Game 31

Nebraska (19-11) vs. Creighton (20-5)

T. Niederklein (3-1, 4.05) vs. TBA

6:35 p.m

i wont be on tonight, have a fire fighter 1 class to goto. will be looking after so do a good job of play by play as i will start with the 1st page and run through it all.

I hope to be here for the 1st pitch, but I might be a tad late. Work tends to get in the way of things I enjoy doing.

TBA = Different pitcher every inning

For whatever reason, you feel this is something to laugh at.

But for the college baseball purist, it underlines the inequity of having less than full scholarships to hand out to athletes (11.7 schollies to be divided b/w 27 players)

You see, the Creighton player pays far more to play baseball at a private school such as Creighton than at a public school such as UNL, and this usually comes to light in pitching depth for a midweek game.

So, the real laugher here is not Creightons pitching depth due to scholarship limitations, the true knee slapper is how Creighton won 3 out of the last 5 games versus Nebraska, one of them by the score of 15-0.

Are you still laughing Glendale???

What is your deal?

Creighton has been doing this for quite some time vs. the Huskers, if your a "baseball purist" you would know this.
