Maybe he is one of those people that like the building process. I remember the teams from 1969 - 1971. With 20/20 hindsight, the 1969 team was more fun to follow than the 1971 team. Watching that team start off 2-2, and then watch them develop to surprising some others, ending the season with a close win over K-State (10-7), crushing OU (44-14), and a complete demolishing of Georgia in the Sun Bowl (45-6). That season started a 30-something winning streak with back-to-back National Championships.

Making a short story long, building a program can be a lot of fun.

Agree. The '69 team was special and set the tone for our first nattys.

I appreciate he recognized that what he did was absolutely wrong but if he was classy he would not have done what he did in the first place. Hopefully he learns from this incident and grows up a little bit. No one is perfect and I get that.
