Meh. He's a kid who is growing up in a completely different era than most of us here. What once was considered "disrespectful" is now "just the norm".
Not a big deal.

I understand this is a different time and it really doesn't appear that this kid is a bad kid, however dismissing what he did and saying it is just the 'norm' still doesn't make it right. I do think he got caught up in the moment and I guess we will see what his true character is down the road.

I have no problem with him throwing an Illinois hat to the side. Bielema is a giant douche canoe and has earned any disrespect that is even remotely thrown his way.
I used to get excited about news like this but not anymore. If he doesn't start as a freshman he would probably portal his way out. And I wish he had said something about the academic opportunities being offered to him. That would be a little indication of his interest in staying in Lincoln.
My wife and I saw this kid with some other recruits while on the facilities tour. I didn't know who he was at the time, just thought he looked so young. That's awesome he's peer recruiting already!

I've always thought that Bielema looks more like my grade school's janitor than a head football coach. Apologies to all grade school janitors out there.
