Consensus 4* WR Kahlil Taylor Top 100 Prospect Has Committed To Nebeaska

Lion fans not taking it well

I woould say his comment was out of bounds

again
Out of bounds like in 1982 with Todd Blackledge and Mike McCloskey?

How we keep getting the former to call our games may not be a mystery worthy of Scooby and the gang.

Plus, not to be the grammar police, but dude can't even spell Trae's name correctly when trying to bag on the young man's choice of where to play ball and get an education.

I have no animus towards their new head coach, but their fans and their media sycophants need to take a step back sometimes.

We are the Knitting Lions indeed.

Tay Ellis is not mediocre

As to it being a position of need.....
I figured this was coming.

Ellis is solid. Lindsey was lightly recruited and has had modest high school production to-date. Before adding Khalil Taylor, it wasn't a great WR class for a team with the #1 QB. Khalil Taylor helps a lot. Glad we got him.

Munson referenced the same sentiment/perception that I expressed, so it's not just me.

So Munson called them mediocre ? I would really like to see that quote. Thanks in advance

In this video from three weeks ago they break down the position groups and grade the WRs as "very good"

I can provide other quotes along that line if you would like?

Really nice eval on Tae Ellis

The Munson quote I was referring to was in his "Khalil Taylor commitment: What does it mean for NU?" write up. It was the second of his seven observations. Specifically:

"Nebraska fans were waiting for that 'big-time' WR to follow to follow Trae Taylor, and now they have him."

You're welcome.

So where did he say the other WRs were mediocre ?

You made that claim and I have yet to find that comment snywhere

What you just posted does nor say that

Let's be honest Bryan Munson would never call other recruits in this class mediocre. It would be disrespectful . Until we see what each and does in their time at Nebraska it's beyond disrespectful to refer to them as such

As for being welcome you did not provide any input to what you claimed

I apologize to folks in this thread for the threadjack but that comment really bugged me

If NU fans (per Munson) were waiting for a big-time WR to join the class, what does that imply?

If you believe NU's class was in great shape at WR before adding Khalil Taylor, then let's just disagree and move on.

Your putting words/interpreting in Munson's mouth which I 100% guarantee you he would never have said said

No one has any clue how good those two wide receivers will be

Have a nice day
