when i see a school jump on a kid long after his commitment i think of two things. 1 they are desperate for a backup, and/or 2 they are looking to snake away a player for a year and screw up another team while the player is just relegated to practice squad even tho he was promised an open competition. Recruiting is ruthless today and i think some coaches do this stuff to stay on top.
