Conference standings predictor

Yes but Purdue plays Northwestern and Wisconsin. Badgers are certainly capable of winning but I wouldn’t bet money on it, especially w/ Purdue on its losing streak.
I agree. I don’t think Northwestern will beat Purdue. However, Purdue is struggling defensively. Something like five straight opponents have shot 50%. I am hoping that Wisconsin can stress Purdue’s defense and pull off another upset.

so, with last night's loss, Nebraska's did not clinch the triple-bye; but, the possibility is still on the table.

Nebraska clinches with a win over Iowa or a loss by Purdue to either Northwestern or Wisconsin (both seem unlikely with the Wisconsin game at home for Purdue)

So, what else needs to happen to grab the double-bye? I think simply -- a Michigan State loss at Michigan drops the Spartans into a tie and our win over them helps with all of the tie breakers. My run of the simulations with MSU losing and Nebraska beating Iowa shows a 2-seed is still the outcome regardless of any other games.

A Nebraska loss to Iowa seems likely to drop to the 5-seed unless we also see an inexplicable loss by Michigan State to Rutgers (and to Michigan) or Purdue losing one of their final two games.

I have seen a seeding possibilities chart somewhere in the past that I'll look for.

I think that a Nebraska win over Iowa and a Michigan State loss to Michigan gives NU the #2 seed in the tournament. At the worst, those same results would give us no worse than a #3 seed.

The way it stands right now, I'd rather be a 3 seed, then a 2. 2 would play UCLA, and 3 would play Purdue if they won their games. UCLA IS hot right now.

With UCLA winning today, I think UCLA is the 6-seed and Purdue the 7-seed based on head-to-head.
