Thought it would be interesting to review some stats from NU's past experience with this extra end of year hurdle:

NU is 2-4 overall in CCG's

CCG record by HC
Osborne ... 1-1
Solich ...... 1-0
Callahan ... 0-1
Pelini ....... 0-2


  • BP's 3rd CCG appearance, represents the most for any NU coach.
  • remember the alamo, too bad the game isn't in San Antonio, NU is 2-0 in CCG's played in San Antonio
  • 2-3 in CCG's played in domes

of late, the games tend to be close defensive struggles, with points being difficult to come by:

NU-opponent
27-37
54-15
22-6
7-21
12-13
20-23

would be nice to see NU's offense break out, early & often.
