Indiana plays OSU next week, PSU has MSU. We play Michigan.

Looking at the logjam between 2 and 5, I don't think we can get to 2d place. That will either be MSU, PSU, or IN. IN could play itself right out of the position, but MSU and PSU will still end up ahead of us. I'm thinking we'll get a 3 seed in the tourney.

We will probably have a much better picture after Friday's games. We still have a chance for the #2 seed, but we need some help, especially since Indiana owns the tie-breaker against us. We pretty much need to sweep Michigan St. to have any chance at the #2 seed.

We need to sweep Michigan. MSU takes 2 of 3 from Penn St, and Ohio State takes at least 2 of 3 from Indiana puts us as #2

Unfortunately, I really wouldn't be surprised by that either. Just about every time this team has seemed like maybe it turned the corner, its followed it up by taking a step backwards.

Maybe I'm drunk with Kool Aid, but I really think we'll take at least 2 of 3, if not sweep Michicant this weekend -- All we need is ANY starting pitching and we can make it happen - Kubat looked good Friday and Spitsnogle surprised me yesterday -- If we can avoid those first inning disasters and BBs, I really think it will happen! It is possible, but not very likely since Nebraska would need to get swept and Minn. would have to sweep Illinois (@ Illinios). Neither of those scenarios seem very likely right now.

Probably 3rd. Indiana would have to lose the last two against OSU and PSU would have to lose the last two against MSU for us to get to 2nd.

thanks for the info. i'll be rooting against IU and PSU this weekend. sure would be nice to slide into that #2 spot.
