Normally I roll my eyes when we lose a higher profile recruits and people say it's no big deal. This time I actually agree. I don't think this a big loss for Nebraska.
There definitely have been some "red flags" that have popped up recently...
As others have stated, I’ve also heard that this one was mutual, if not maybe even a bit more NU driven.
Recruiting has always been a roller coaster ride. Add in today’s NIL/$$$, and it’s that much more intense and important to act fast.
It’s better that these types of changes and decisions happen early on.

This probably belongs on the rumor board.
If this is somehow a foreboding of also seeing Taylor decommit, so be it. With what we endured in the past when we had QB commitments from Josh Freeman (who bailed on us to K-State) and Blaine Gabbert (who bailed on us for Missouri) in an era where poaching wasn't as prevelant, until they have the red uniform on and step on the field at Memorial Stadium, nothing should surprise me in today's environment. I know that we too have poached recruits from other programs--it is just sad what exists today and that the word commitment means noting. I redcommend we change the phrase to Placeholder.
