These rankings are comparing what’s coming into the program. The system is flawed however, since it doesn’t have a good way to quantify what has left. Colorado has suffered big losses on numbers of players (the entire starting Oline for example). Contrast with Nebraska having the fewest portal losses in the nation. Bring in similar quality, that puts Nebraska way ahead on personnel.
But I really don’t mind if Colorado gets hyped up as a favorite and all the media talks about Shedour going into the game.
