I believe both are good quarterbacks, seem like good kids. I feel Colandrea gives this team exactly what they need. He extended a lot of drives tonight. Dylan is playing USC right now. I feel we got an upgrade for what our team needs. The portal overall seems to have been good to us. I’m still thinking 7-8 wins.

What do you think? Was the move to get Colandrea the right one? Did the fact it enabled us to get a real offensive line coach weigh into your decision? Do you think Raiola is good? Do you think he will succeed?

I like having a QB who can run and is willing to put his shoulder down. AC's not perfect, and he's a tad short, but I think he compliments what DH wants to do well. I think, honestly, we could've done a better job putting him in better situations tonight, but when it counted, he delivered.

DR is a good QB and I don't get the animus towards him. We had to can his uncle, and after watching him bounce around in high school and then his recruiting drama, expecting him to stay was nonsensical. I wish him the best, except when he plays Nebraska.

I'm happy where we're at QB-wise.

You’re right - both seem like good kids

Dylan is more suited for a team that can/will have a proficient pass blocking team.

I say wait until we are deeper into the season before evaluating AC. He arguably played 4 of the easiest teams on our schedule (MSU might be better than Maryland and Rutgers but that’s about it).

I do think AC has the fiery personality that is better suited for this team.

I do think DR, his family and his “team” around him kind of put up walls around DR and the football team. I think Rhule’s comments early in the season about the wrong people were saying the wrong things on last years team ws pointed at DR.

AC can say one thing no other NU QB in the last 10 years can say … we re 4-0!

I agree with the bold 100%. I believe he helps the team avoid sacks. He improvises and extends drives. Can he do that against faster defenses? We won’t know that until Indiana most likely. I am excited to watch him improve with this offensive line.
 
AC's personality alone makes him an upgrade. I think this team needed someone like him badly. To bring that killer instinct type of attitude. Keep guys in check. Reminds me alot of T. Armstrong. But with a lottle more physical talent.
