Matt Campbell has zero upside at Penn State. He's following a guy that was fired with a .698 record. I like Matt, but he's in a no-win deal. He will be gone by fall of 2029.

Deion will end poorly. He can't coach a lick. Might be gone after this season if CU can afford it.

Bill Belichik will be gone after this season.

Dave Aranda. Do or die this season. Patience has run out. I like this guy. Not sure how things went south.

Leipold. Hmmm. Better get things going. He will be back for 2028, but he's got some hiney starting to show.

Rhule. Wow this season could be decent or disastrous. The ceiling is decent. If it's worse than decent, he's in deep dookie. He needs 6 wins to keep his job.

Fickel. If the guy wasn't so fickle, he'd have a fighting chance. :Rockon: :Rockon: :Rockon: He's gonzo after this season.

DeBoer. I think he's gone mid 2008 season. He'll win just enough this year to keep his job, but the natives will be restless entering 2028, and he could get a quick hook offstage.

Norvell. He's gone after this season.

Not sure if this is troll bait or not but if it is I will take the bait.

Rhule is safe - barring some kind of scandal - his buyout is far too high.

Deion - Colorado is seeing those receipts but they cant return anything. They have spent way too much money. Unless he chooses to head to greener pastures he is safe. Colorado will have an absolutely miserable year this year though. It sounds like he placed a priority on small fast players from the FCS and HBCU. I love the enthusiasm but loathe the arrogance. FWIW - I think he does have a positive impact on college men but he is a horrible football coach.

Fickel - it is going to be another rough year in Madison. I do think they have embraced the suck and will tough it out though.
 
Update:

Matt Campbell's season hasn't started. They've played cream puffs.

Bill may not make it through the season. UNC is looking more like TMZ.

Dave Aranda. Should have taken the extra point against Auburn and re-set. Gambling it all on the 2-point conversion was just one more notch against him.

Deion. The win on the road against GA Tech wasn't huge, but it wasn't easy either. He bought a few weeks of reprieve.

Leipold - Kansas Kansas'd against Mizzoo.

DeBoer - whipped up on Kentucky. Next three weeks will determine his fate.

Rhule hasn't played anyone yet. Big boy season doesn't start until 9/26. He will be 3-0 going to East Lansing, but 3-0 against the Sisters of the Poor.

Fickel - got creamed by ND, then won against a D2-ish type deal.

Norvell - won't make it until the end of the season. He just can't get it done.

Added: Schiano. He might be back because Rutgers athletics is insolvent to the tune of a half $ billion.
