Akron .... #129 out of 136 teams (Massey Consensus Rating). FCS Houston Christian probably lower ranking compared to Akron.

Though last week, HCU won 69 to 0 against NAIA Arkansas Baptist ...... BTW, I noticed only 525 students

We need to beat Michigan to enter the polls. Unless Michigan lays an egg before we play them, it will be seen as a quality enough win to put us in poll consideration along with a 4-0 record.

Playing teams like Akron is a double edge sword. Beating (hopefully) Akron 22-21 will not win any hearts and minds. We have not yet proven reliably that we win games we should, let alone by a convincing score.

We need to have exceedingly convincing wins these next two games. That is what a good team would do.

It will if the teams ranked above you lose, but you're right, we probably needed to crush Cincy for a chance to be rated prior to Michigan.
