Wow...….that's a long 10 years. Pretty certain it takes him off the market anywhere else.

Yea... things can change often times do! Ten years is almost a life time in college football. His buyout would be off the charts even if it was only for 3 or 4 years almost 10 million a year........ Schools are so paranoid about a winning coaching wandering off the reservation they are willing to bet the ranch long term. I would be against giving any Nebraska coach a 10 year deal for many reasons.....

At a certain point why not just tell the guy..."Yeah, we aren't paying you $9.3M a year. How about you settle for $7?" What's he going to do? The buyers in that price range are pretty damn limited.
