If true, it’s not surprising. Florida is a better job, and UCLA's a better fit.
The article says he turned an offer from TN but he turned down "interest" from NU. Not that NU offered him.
Probably doesn’t want to take Scott’s dream job away from him!
I don't think so. NU is probably inquiring to see if several coaches have interest. That doesn't mean they are going to offer those coaches.

That sounds as if the writer just wanted to throw in another school. I personally don't think Chip Kelly would be a good fit here. I have read that he isn't much into recruiting (so going to where the talent is, makes sense) and has a large ego - that wouldn't play in Lincoln.

I agree. We posted the same quote at about the same time.
Kelly never had an offer from Nebraska, and I'd be surprised if he had an actual offer from anyone yet.
Clearly, Kelly was never going to come to Nebraska, but if Moos "showed interest" in Kelly that is a positive thing.
My guess is we won’t fill until we get a definite yes or no from Frost and that won’t happen until his season is over.
