Full disclosure:
Made chili on Saturday night. Typical mix of stuff I use, but added a can of black beans to go with the chili beans.
Loved the taste, but the gastrointestinal aftershock was staggering. Not typical gas, but there was that too. I'm talking bend over, grab your guts cramps and pain. I'd have paid cash money to have been able to be socially inappropriate and just let it all out....but it wasn't happening. I almost felt like a Great Dane who's stomach rolled over. It sucked. I'll never add another can of beans to chili I'm going to consume. Never.
