"Wrestling for the gold medal will be Thomas Gilman (57 kg), Jordan Burroughs (74 kg), and David Taylor (86 kg)". In a surprise loss, "Snyder lost 3-3 on criteria to 2017 world bronze medalist Aslanbek Alborov (Azerbaijan). " He will wrestle for the Bronze.
"The second installment for Jordan Burroughs/Frank Chamizo (Italy) has been set for Saturday’s final at 74 kg. Both wrestlers won all three of their bouts Friday, and neither was seriously tested. The notoriously stingy Chamizo advanced without surrendering a point in three matches. The first meeting between Burroughs and Chamizo took place three months ago at the Beat the Streets “Rumble on the River” event. Though both competitors were slowed by a slippery mat, Jordan managed to rally and defeat the two-time world champion Chamizo in dramatic fashion."
Taylor Pins all 3 of his opponents to advance to the finals!
