I think it’s a good idea to let them actually sign with us, get on campus and practice before we say who will start game 1.
 

Thompson if he were to transfer back to NU would probably not be able to fully participate in spring practice once again " See Last Spring " so yes he could be a valuable tool for the young guys but the coaches would not know what he can do until fall again. He would not be the starter for UTEP unless something bad were to happen
