We are told we have a "much" improved O line and that a mobile QB improves our chance of scoring in the red Zone. So will it mean 1 more TD per game. If we did htat last year we would have been 9-4.

In 2024 that would have been a difference of either 3 or 4. (ILL won by exactly 7) that would have been 10 or 11 games. BTW some big names that we lost to. OSU and Michigan for example would have been wins.

i still have concerns this dude makes it thru the season. hes small.......

I want to believe that the O line is as big and fast and as talented as the 90's group. That our new QB is Tommy Frazieresque, that the freshman RB will make us forget Emmet, and that there are several shutouts in the future brought to us by our blackshirts. But my confidence in Coach Rhule has slipped several points from two years ago. It has been a carousel of asst coaches since his arrival. He cannot seem to get the right guys who can coach the individual talent the players bring. It is more like, "do it the way I tell you" rather than adjusting game plans around the type of players they recruit.

Knowing we are far from this imagined team, it's time to appreciate the wins we do get through the coaching we do have then seems the position to take

Well Russell Wilson wasn’t very big either, but had a pretty good college and NFL career. Sort of depends on how smart Colandrea is in avoiding big hits? Wilson was really good at avoiding getting smacked around when he ran. Wilson was listed at 5’11” 206 in his college days. Let’s hope Colandrea uses good sense, takes a seat to avoid big hits in the open field....

We really should be better offensively with better receivers and an offensive line.

Colandrea will be a threat, but I really do wonder how things will go when the Big 10 games start.

Defenses will start to contain the pocket. How does that look for the offense?

Iowas QB did it right last year. Let's hope AC will too

As long as some of our stud receivers can get open I believe Colandrea will find them. He throws an exceptionally good long pass which we saw little of last season!

The fact that defenses have to actually account for the QB takes one defender away from either the passing game or the run game so the opportunities should be there.

Wilson was a baseball player, therefore a better athlete.
