Good luck to him. He's walking into a pressure cooker attached to a meat grinder. Campbell has averaged 5 losses per year at ISU. His best season there (11-3) will get him fired at PSU.

Personally, I'd rather live like an absolute baller on that in Iowa and be the Pope of the city with pretty low expectations and then retire with my health. But, then again . . . college coaches tend to be egomaniacs, so there's that. PSU fans and boosters will be all over him like ugly on a gorilla if he loses more than 2 games.

Given the timeline, PSU is likely to struggle next year. Their only hope is to score big in the portal.
Sounds like a done deal. My son is a Jr at ISU, one of his frat brothers is on the football team and was just texted to a mandatory team meeting at 8:00pm.
Screen trailer on ESPN just showed Campbell with 8 year deal at PSU.
