Hope we can keep her as she redshirts in '25. I have doubts that she will beat out Bergan Riley, who will be a Jr. (case in point, the Fr. OH that transferred from NU to PSU last year and torched us in the NCG.
 

Coach Cook is not afraid to start the better player even a true freshman over a multi year starter.

I agree that the odds are not in her favor to start over Reilly.

I don't have any cogent insights, and I know Cook prefers running a 5-1. Having two elite setters (assuming Campbell lives up to her press) gives the team some flexibility they have not had in several years.
 

We were so lucky that Kennedi Orr stayed here her last two years. Nebraska really needs two good setters on the roster at all times. Bergen now has two years where she was healthy every game and didn’t come down with the flu or Covid or something. But you can’t count on that. Just like with all of our outside hitters, I hope the coaches can keep everyone happy when they all can’t be starters.
