22-11 basketball team lead by Isiah Roby

Finished in a tie for 4th with Michigan with a 13-5 conference record.
They won 11 of their last 13 regular season games.
Received a double-bye in the B1G tournament - lost first game against Michigan (who they beat by 20 in the regular season).
They lost a 1st round NIT game against Mississippi State!

Ouch. I remember that team. Really good point guard, I think from Chicago. So, a 22 wins and a 4th place conference finish doesn't guarantee a bid to the big dance.

Interesting thing about that team is:

1) they beat just two teams at the time they were ranked
2) they beat Mississippi St (the team that bounced them in the NIT) in an exhibition
3) they lost to @St. John's, UCF (N), @Creighton and Kansas in non-conference play
4) their best non-conference win was Boston College (ACC-B1G Challenge)
5) 4 of their 11 losses were to ranked teams
