Bye Week Presser 10 November: Coach Frost

Other than returning it did not hurt us like PK or Punter

Oh and for the record I am all for a full time special teams coach. It can only help

Sean Snyder is who I like to see
Cam Taylor-Britt

For the 1st month of season, til we threw in the towel and went santio panico on returns it was a huge issue… but I guess that’s not the return ‘team’ that’s a ‘specialist’

I think Frost did a good job of fielding the questions, and sharing as much as he could about the the recent changes and his interaction with Trev. IMO, a couple things that he says are confusing. Either that, or I am just being overly analytical. :) He says that "we have been really good on Offense, and when we have the right guys we have been elite on Offense". We know the Offense has been productive, but not terribly effective. To me, Frost's statement points more to a lack of player talent to be "elite", so IMO some mixed messaging there. Also, he said that special teams "have vastly improved" and I'm not sure how you make that statement, considering how we continue to struggle there.
Frost also said that he doesn't feel like wholesale change needs to be made on Offense, but said he would be open to it if it's what needed to make NU better. So, it sounds like he is flexible on what we do on Offense, and that is good to hear. Overall, I thought it was one of his better press conferences and IMO he didn't dodge any questions, even though the last couple days had to be tough for him.

Sean seems the best fit- other names
grant cain James madison
but snyder would be the best.

I thought it was interesting that Frost stated, "...you can't keep doing the same things and expect different results."

Yep... insanity.

I appreciate that he is looking for new, "voices and ideas".
