I don't believe college referees can be fined. They are graded. They can be downgraded for future games. Worst case, they can be suspended. They don't make enough money officiating to support fines. It's part-time pay for a part-time job.

He means the coach will be fined for the comments. Refs are untouchable and never held accountable.

There are lots of calls made by officials during the games, not just a call at the end of the game. Who knows if a call had gone the other way earlier we would not have had even a close game. Can't relive one play and say it won or lost a game. The ones at the end get magnified in a close game, but they are just another call.

Maryland took Ohio State late into the fourth as did Northwestern, do they deserve to be in the National Championship discussion? No they’re there because they have a huge alumni/fan base it’s all about the $$$.

Mizzou took UGA to the wire, so does UGA deserve to be in the discussion? Teams are going to have off days, it happens.
