Kinda surprised that we are interested unless we aren't as strong at QB as I thought.

That part is interesting. I could see Martinez red-shirting... but who knows at this point? Seems like a good problem to have. A QB can have a big impact on the success of a coach. I would take as many as I can get.Kinda surprised that we are interested unless we aren't as strong at QB as I thought.

Over his career he had 15 passing touchdowns, 12 interceptions, and 20 rushing touchdowns (https://www.foxsports.com/college-football/brandon-dawkins-2-player-stats). I've never seen him play, but based on the stats, and the fact he lost the starting job at Arizona, maybe he's an insurance policy in case none of the young guys make enough progress? I mean, his decision making in the passing game seems a bit suspect. But what do I know.
I prefer the guys in the room, but what do I know
And he may not even know as much then as he will when they play in an actual game.I think Coach Frost has some uncertainties as far as qb. He really doesn't know what he has until he sees them in practice
