"NACOGDOCHES, TX---The McKendree Bearcats slid past Sam Houston State into the top spot of the
January poll as the National Ten Pin Coaches Association continues to evaluate the top teams in NCAA
bowling.
Nebraska remained in third place, gaining six first-place votes, with third place finishes at the Stormin’
Blue and White and Prairie View while Vanderbilt slid up a notch into fourth on the strength of a win at
the Northeast and a narrow loss to Sam Houston in the championship match at the Prairie View."
