The issue here is if the class deteriorates much further, what are you saving keeping the current staff? Honest question.

After listening to Moos the last two days, I feel Riley is gone. KJ and Gebbia were just the initial signals to me. as has been discussed in other threads, Keep the guy for the recruiting class? Makes no sense to me. We saw what happened when Bo Left, and Callahan, etc down the line. Need to get the new guy hooked up and locked, he can recruit on the side.
This is where we need to stop the speculation one way or another on who is coaching this team next year. People don't like the unknown, this just proves it
It's hard to argue with what's been said in the media recently by recruits parents and NU's new AD. The ONLY thing that can flip the equation is NU winning out. Otherwise it's time to fish or cut bait.
It's the U that is driving this. Give up on blaming the fans.
I want to thank the fans and news media for the kind words lately. Poorly thought out words and the desire for news scoops can cause things to spiral out of control.

Unfortunately it will also make it easier for the other high profile recruits in the class to decommit now that Bookie broke the ice. The ship is sinking and the others will see it is time to jump off.
