BIG & the NCAA Tourney

*** a few years back had a very enlightening look at some reasons for the talent disparity we see between the B1G and S$C.

It had to do with scholarship distribution.

Can't remember a lot of it, but it truly was an eye opener. I do remember that.
 

Florida putting the smack down on LSU. Also, I hate side arm pitchers. They've never been good in the history of Baseball. 8 - 3 end of 4th.
 



Aside from tonight, this series has been incredible. I have been at every game and am really looking forward to Mon night. Geaux LSU.

PS…cannot wait until SC and UCLA play baseball in the BIG. They will dominate but we may make the CWS as a conference!
 




A couple weeks ago, a friend of mine and I made a trip we'd been talking about doing for years and saw baseball games in Lincoln, Omaha, Kansas City, Sioux City and Sioux Falls. I flew into Lincoln for the first time in nearly 30 years, saw family, and then met him in KC for a Royals game. We got lucky and there were tickets still available for Game 1, TCU vs. Oral Roberts. It was my first CWS game. It definitely won't be my last. I may make the CWS a yearly vacation.

Despite not having a rooting interest, that game, and the entire tournament, was an absolute blast! (Haymarket Park in Lincoln is pretty awesome too. Had a great time at a Saltdogs game.)
