Big Ten 2024-25 scheduling announcement

If USC or UCLA complain about their schedule in year one after begging to get into the conference…

Ouch. So we get one premier game and possibly neither team rated. Well the bitchers about a tough schedule and getting screwed by the B1G are happy. I was hoping we were in the B1G to play premier games. I hope this isn't right.

Mitch Sherman hinted this morning that NU would only have one protected game against Iowa while others would have three. If that is true, I think it's a mistake on the Husker's part not to grab two others (I would pick Northwestern and UCLA) and protect them too. In any case, I don't like some teams protecting three and others only protecting one - should be the same for everybody. We'll see if any of this is reality in an hour or so.

I'm assuming you are referring to UCLA. They won 9 games last season and finished ranked. I'm not sure what they'll look like in 2024, but Chip Kelly has turned that team around. Otherwise, most of the matchups have not yet leaked.

Now as part of that ongoing process, it appears the Big Ten is doing its due diligence on potential future members of the conference, vetting up to 10 teams from across the country, according to new speculation.

Those teams include: Oregon, Washington, Miami, North Carolina, Duke, Utah, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Cal, and Stanford.

Im currently a UCLA season tix holder, so this is gonna be great, I hope. Not many BIG schools have a history of playing a PAC12 school, like we have with ucla and washington. Ive been to the Wash stadium, it is awesome as well, very, very tall, and very steep. Maybe the best view in all of CFB, its incredible

The Reason for Each...
UCLA
>>> West Coast game so I can drive to a game (I live on the W.C.), along with recruiting SoCal.
Iowa >>>>Because NEB Corn is Better, along with the rivalry is building into something.
Penn St. >>>> That is where are Head Coach played ball, along with recruiting the East Coast.
