Greg McMullen is a huge pickup.....Member of Rivals Top 100.....real need at DE....
Jordan Westerkamp....real steady reliable guy...makes big plays every game...reminds you a bit of Nate Swift....
Really good chance Tommie Armstrong will be 'N'.....he fits the mold of what the coaches want....throws and runs the ball very well....Tim Beck wants a guy who can do both....not a one dimensional guy....
Want the second quarterback in the class (if they take one) to be a versitile athlete who can move around like Jammal Turner and play another position (i.e. Fuller)...
Nice things to say about Sam Cotton....said he earned his scholarship at camp this summer....
Talked about Tay Bender.....#1 recruit in the state....K-State commit as we know.....Huskers love him however, as an athlete....he wants to play QB....Nebraska's issue with not offering him as a QB was his throwing ability....6-15 with 3 Int's in his opening senior game....
Thinks Jake Schany (LB Nebraska kid) has a shot at an offer.....IF the top guys on the board turn Nebraska down....thinks he will end up at Colorado as Nebraska more than likely won't come in until late....however, if Nebraska offers he commits on the spot...
Mike Shoff (torn ACL has really hurt him)....Iowa is still his only offer....not a great camp this summer at Nebraska.....hopes to impress the staff in his first three or four games....if Nebraska offers he commits on the spot....however, there are only two spots open for OL....his chances are pretty slim of getting an offer as Andrus Peat and Evan Goodman are the top two guys we pushing hard to land....so it will depend on the need and if a spot remains open late....
