BIG Media Days: 26-27 July, 2023 (BTN Broadcast) Huskers Scheduled For 27 July

Listening to one of the Piper interviews, I noticed a repeating theme. Players understanding the why of things and the importance Coach Rhule puts on it. He understands the generation isn't the same. He is doing a nice job building Leaders of character with intent and a plan.

The other thing I took away from that interview and previous accounts, is that Ben Scott could very well end up the MVP from the transfers, even if individually they are putting up big numbers.
Ben Scott could be exactly what the doctor ordered

This is a very slight nitpick because I’ve been watching all the Rhule media stuff and he warms the cockles of my heart. Seriously, he’s just what we needed around here but…

Once when he got asked that super weird question at the presser and once when he was talking to Damon Benning in the context of religion, he said something to the effect of, we have players here who don’t believe in anything.

As someone who, depending on the day is either agnostic or atheist, it doesn’t mean we’re all nihilist. We have beliefs but we also like sleeping in on Sunday.

Anyway, Rhule is clearly intelligent and careful with his words so I just find that an odd way of describing people who aren’t religious.

Don't mean to digress, but did you listen to Harbaugh talking about what he has position by position? In each case it was something like I have twice as many players qualified to be a great starter as we need at every position.

I think the quote is being taken way out of context
