Nebraska's 7-1 record in conference games is our best performance since 2001 (also 7-1). We've lost at least two conference games every year since then, AVERAGING 3.5 conference losses per season (Bo has aveaged 2.5 conference losses per season).

We played probably the toughest conference schedule of any of our peers, and would have had a chance to avenge our one loss if Ohio State would've played by the rules and been eligible for the post-season.

It may not seem like much, but it's definitely a clear sign of things going the right way.

I agree, IMHO Ohio State was the only real beating we had. But we improved since then.

Might have helped if they had voluntarily removed themselves from bowl eligibility last year. Maybe the NCAA would have let them walk instead of giving them a 1 year bowl ban.
