A lot of people cite their favorite Bond as the one they grew up watching. My dad was a big Bond fan, so I grew up watching Connery, Lazenby and Moore on TV/VHS, and then saw Dalton and Brosnan in the theaters. By the time Craig came around I was an adult.

For me, I think I enjoy Dalton and Craig the best, purely as actors. They played Bond in the most ruthless way. If there's a spectrum between Sex and Death, they're way more on the death side opposed to Connery and Moore playing Bond as a suave lover who also can kill.

In terms of films, I'd say Goldfinger and Live and Let Die are two of my favorites, along with the three-peat of The Living Daylights, License to Kill and GoldenEye. The two Dalton films into Brosnan's debut are all excellent cinema.

Good question, but I really don't have a favorite. All made good movies and all have made some duds.

Most people prefer Connery-Goldfinger and From Russia with Love are probably his 2 best. Diamonds are Forever is really not very good.

I really like On Her Majesty Secret Service. Not because of George Lazenby, though he wasn't bad in it, it is just a good story. A different story with a real love interest.

Rodger Moore early ones are pretty good he was just way too old to be playing Bond in about the last 3 he was in. Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me are good. One of my favorites by him is The Man With the Golden Gun. It is considered one of the worst by most critics. His later ones just got too gadgety and he got too old. He is way too old in Occtopussy, A View to a Kill, and For Your Eyes Only, though I do kinda like that one.

Dalton was a good Bond, but I don't think either of his movies were that great. They were just OK stories, but he was a good Bond. Probably closer to what Flemming envisioned for Bond, ruthless killer.

Goldeneye is a really good Bond movie and Pierce Brosnan was a good Bond. I liked Judy Dench as M. I liked having M being more of a part of the movies than in the other ones. The other 3 are OK not as good as Goldeneye.

Casino Royal, and SkyFall are great movies IMO. Quantum of Solace is not a good movie and Spectre is OK not great, but not terrible either. Craig is getting too old to play Bond. James Bond should be perpetually between the age of 35 and 40. Craig was very good as Bond. He probably showed most emotion of them all.

So to sum up they all did good and bad movies. I don't have a favorite I have favorite movies.

Skyfall was a really solid film. I can't believe I left it off my post. I liked that they brought back some classic Bond elements like the Aston Martin DB5.

I didn't really get into Bond films until 2002's Die Another Day with Pierce Brosnan. I've watched every Daniel Craig Bond film and tried watching the older ones but don't really enjoy them except for a couple of the Sean Connery ones. That's more of me being a fan of Sean Connery than the actual films though. I'd have to vote on Daniel Craig as the best Bond.
