The summer has been good and the suds have been flowing. Almost too many to mention. I've been onto more hoppy Pale Ales and some interesting IPAs in addition to the Usual Suspects. We've finally been seeing the Cigar City line out here. Knee Deep Slooow Mo IPA is another one I thoroughly enjoyed.
The Melvin Brewery from Jackson Wyoming is awesome, those guys know what they're doing. The Humbert IPA is really tasty. Lambda Lambda Lambda was from their Rotating Imperial IPA Series. 100 IBUs/13% ABV and VERY DANGEROUS!

It's just starting to cool off down here in South Carolina. Highs still in the 90's, but morning's and evenings are getting to the point that I think I can drink something other than Mich Ultra again without falling out. Fall's a coming'.

Let's see what did I drink last night? Well actually it was terrible. Worst I've had. Ever. It was called Suprep. Know what that is? It's a Bowel Prep for colonoscopy, which went fine. Allow me to say the taste profile of ice cold Suprep is along the lines of sweet dishrag and a Buffalo carcass. When I was finished with part 2 at 6 AM this morning, and all the flushing was done, you could probably have put a flashlight in my mouth and seen the light on the other end.
Do not despair for me. I'm back in the saddle, had a few homebrews (for the probiotic effects obviously) and am all set on Saturday. Have some great Session Beers for the game

I had the same opinion of Suprep. Maybe a little more hops and it would have been drinkable.
Of course I'm not keen on drinking something recreationally that keeps me glued to the throne for four hours. It certainly would effect my ability to watch games....unless....
We have this small town brewery about 30 miles south of us that has a really good IPA. I have not had the chance to try all their beers yet. But the quality and tasted of the IPA impressed me. Started drinking IPA about 43 years ago being stationed in England in the USAF for 8 years. Have been trying them ever since. If you see it you might want to give it a try.
