Is there no more beach volleyball for NU? I've seen nothing posted and this morning I saw a top 25 and NU was not listed. Or are there fewer players playing this year than in the past.

Season starts Feb 23

check out huskers.com for schedule
Thanks I'll check. I follow the Husker Volleyball facebook page, they've make a lot of posts about various things but haven't talked about beach volleyball.

Apparently no fans can watch in person?
Alloy complex has no seating.
That i can tell
I thought it odd we haven't started because stuff like that has been on my facebook feed for the last week. I thought if other teams are playing why aren't we playing, if we're still playing.

There are a few seats (maybe 20 or so) right next to the indoor beach volleyball court. I don't know if it is open to the public or not. I remember two years ago seeing Lexi's mom and a couple other mothers there watching.

There is a camera they use to live feed the matches. It is a stationary camera that gives a wide-angle view of the whole court. I believe Huskers.com will post a link to the live feed.

Nebraska is not competitive in beach volleyball. We don't have a separate, dedicated beach volleyball program like other schools such as USC, UCLA, Texas, and some others.

We always play several matches in Lincoln indoors early against whoever they can find, then head south for two trips. This year it’s Arizona and Florida. We are one of the last Power 4 schools to play beach with our indoor team members only. But DBK says she is on board as long as the AD funds it.

They finished beach with a record of 23-3, with two of the losses to ranked teams, Arizona and ASU. They didn’t play any other P4 conference teams, but seemed to do well. Now it is back to indoor, but not at Devaney due to the renovation.
