Dude is a road grader. Exactly what we need. Kid is a top 10 run blocker.

Although Rhule stated the Oline wasn't the problem, his recruiting efforts in the portal tell me differently. Upgrades are required everywhere on this line if we are to be a "run-first" team.

So glad they are targeting big uglies. Would love to see another OT pulled between now and the end of spring ball.

Even if Rhule's right that the O Line wasn't the main problem (not sure I agree with him either), we haven't had anything approaching acceptable depth in a long time. We need big time competition and 2's and 3's that can step in and play if someone gets nicked up. I'm all for bringing in more talent at every position.

My only additional comment and I said it last year whit Railoa in that there were few if any who could have fixed mess he inherited in one season

Not to mention he was hamstrung by Frost and Whipple

Railoa was not the problem

The poor recruiting and lack of depth he inherited was

Getting short term guys like this will allow us to develop and grow starters and depth

I am optimistic
