Great for Game Day!!!!
1 (32 ounce) bag frozen tater tots
12 ounces thick cut bacon (each slice cut in 1/2)
16 ounces pickled jalapeno peppers or 2 jalapenos, sliced
1 cup cheddar cheese(or your favorite cheese, I prefer cheddarjack), to sprinkle on top
1/2 cup ranch dressing
toothpicks, to hold together
1 Slightly defrost tater tots to allow toothpick to go through.
2 Hold jalapeno slice around tater tot then wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around and secure together with toothpick.
3 Make as many as you can then deep fat fry them at 375 degrees for about 5-7 minutes or untill brown and crispy looking. ( I think they cook a little better after they have been frozen together)
4 Immediately sprinkle with cheese of your choice (You can microwave them for 15-20 secs so the cheese melts more) and provide a side of ranch or salsa for dipping.
