Awesome season thank you Huskers!

We need a front court that attacks the rim. No disrespect to Rienk and Berke our bigs need to be big. Illinois just kept attacking the rim. Two bigs crashing down.

If Pryce, Frager and Essegian come back we are loaded on the back court. Uggi helps. Need a center!
Go get Janowski from St. Thomas. NU/Hoiberg has proven they’ll go back and resign guys who’ve left. Janowski would’ve helped this past year and definitely could be a rotation player this coming season.

I also will add that Husker fans really shined this past season. Support has been second to none.
Well, there were a couple of Husker idiots sitting a few rows behind me in Houston, with vulgar shouts and general unsportsmanlike behavior. I gave them a look once, but didn't have to say anything as they moved elsewhere at halftime.

Coin flip on whether these guys were worse than the Iowa student section chanting "F* Pryce Sandfort" eight times in Iowa City.

Every fan base has those kinds of individuals … but did every fan base have 10,000 fans show up in the NCAA first round?

Basketball is unfortunately like that. Attend some high school games in Omaha and you’ll be disgusted. It’s administrators, students, and parents. Just unhinged people. I believe it’s something that needs to be looked at and addressed. Some adults defend the behavior. I never have been reprimanded or ejected and I’ve been to thousands of games. I sit quietly and observe.

My son’s AAU coach was a 6’8” former green beret who was a Milwaukee City League referee. He demanded absolute civility towards referees. If a player lipped off to a ref, he’d stop the game and make the kid apologize to the ref and sat him on the bench for the rest of the game. He’d stop the game and make a player walk across the court to tell his parents/family to stop berating a ref.

Didn't mean to derail the thread - in this case, I am sure alcohol was involved.

My kids played youth baseball, soccer, basketball. I've seen a parent get thrown out in each of those sports. One teammate actually banned her mother from coming to her games...and the player was in 7th or 8th grade at the time.

My wife was considering being a soccer referee since both kids were playing and traveling. But, she said it was probably a good thing she never got it or there would never be parents on the sidelines by the end of any game.
