Ashley Scoggins

The potential downside to that is, regardless if the "team meeting story" is true or not, other coaches will use it to negatively recruit against Amy Williams and Nebraska.
They absolutely will and I would have to imagine it will be effective. Nebraska should have an independent investigator come in and investigate current and former players and figure out what exactly happened internally. From there the school and AD can figure out how they should proceed with Amy.

If you take AS at face value, Amy has to go. I would have to imagine all that is claimed didn’t happen to that degree but nothing surprises me anymore.

What do you think will happen?

With a generational type talent coming into the program next year, this could be devastating

If one reads social media and message boards from February to May 2022, the outlines of the story have been out there for about 2 cycles of recruiting, and I don’t think the filing of the lawsuit changes the recruiting dynamic that much. But we shall see.

The latest on the lawsuit.

His story has a few holes in it. He stays they only met in parking lot but they found her in his room. Hopefully nothing happened but a hit on his credibility.

Well that is a big difference in narrative.
She violated team rules and was booted off the team for that.

At that time (when she was dismissed from the team) she said there was no sexual relationship and her parents would have been witnesses to that statement.

A year later she claimed a sexual relationship in court filings.

They said Scoggin admitted during a meeting with administrators that she violated university rules and policies. The nature of those violations weren't specified in the court document. Williams and executive athletic director Keith Zimmer then told her she was off the team. Alberts supported that decision during another meeting that included Scoggin's parents. Scoggin, at that meeting, said there was nothing sexual between her and Love.

"Defendants admit Williams told Plaintiff and her parents that violation of the University's rules and policies, and the dishonesty and distrust between Plaintiff and her teammates, warranted her removal as an active member of the Team," the document said.

But they dared to go through with it? Is that the problem here?

It’s still early in the case and a lot can happen. But, it certainly appears that the admin had multiple witnesses to the various meetings after the shenanigans in Pennsylvania, including her parents, and probably documented everything along the way.
